Over this lovely weekend I had a spontaneous idea to paint the backsplash of my kitchen CORAL! I received many compliments that it was a brave move! and it was! Suffice to say, I painted it and hated it… I ended up painting it back to its original color what it looked like before my crazy makeover idea. Sadly, I didn’t photograph this event, but I definitely could relate to the quote below, as stated by the lovely Ms. Draper. Have a good day!

Aw bummer! I'm sure it was a fun idea, but I know exactly how frustrating paint can be…the white I chose for our dining room was SO BRIGHT, and I wanted something with a little more muslin'y tone to make the whites in the room pop…fail. Next time I'll be sure to reallllly think things through, buy baby test cans and make sure I love it!
