As you know, I started my sewing class yesterday, and its a individualized sewing class that lasts 3 hours and is held every monday. As a new student to this class I was assigned a project, a grocery bag. The original pattern is cute, but the handle was too short, and she wanted us to use the provided denim fabric… which I hate to say a denim bag is just so not me, so here is a picture that I am inspired by to recreate this grocery bag using Amy Butler’s Love Collection fabric in the Sandalwood/Ivory pattern (as shown below). I’ll post pics of the completed project soon!

Oooh I just took a one day class and we made a small bag. I cannot wait to get a sewing machine and do more.
