Where do I begin? I wanted to write this post to share my new take on blogging, I’ve decided to incorporate my blog into the dedication of two of my favorite passions: Interior Design and…. Skin Care (beauty, makeup, spas etc).
Let me back up… For many reasons I decided to go back to school to study something I’ve always had a sincere interest in pursuing, Esthetics (aka: Skin Care Therapist). It was a 5 month long program a total of 600 clocked hours; Monday thru Friday 8:30-5:00… I was gone from the crack of dawn, commuting 2 hours in order to receive the education I so badly wanted. I met some of the most wonderful girls, all ready to embark onto a new path in their lives, we learned a ton, laughed even more, and the time flew by oh so fast!
Its been 2 weeks since I graduated, and now I am studying to take my California State Board exam, which will take place on April 20th! Eeek!
I’ve decided to fully encompass ” Dwell in Beauty ” my business name truly captures the essence of me. My sole purpose in life to live in beauty, create it, and make others feel and live in beauty. In my eyes to be a beautiful person from the inside out, the way you walk and talk, including your surroundings, you may not know has such a powerful and positive effect on this world, and with that I leave you with this quote:
“For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness, For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people, For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry, For Beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day, For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.”
